Revered videogame magazine is back on the internet
19/01/05 Edge, Future Publishing’s internationally respected multiformat videogame magazine, is proud to announce that its internet counterpart, Edge Online, has been relaunched.
Edge Online has a remit to complement the content of the popular magazine and reflect the “videogame culture” mantra of Future’s flagship games magazine.
As an extension of the magazine, Edge Online will be updated and maintained by the team responsible for the long-running videogames title, ensuring that online content will be complementary to that of the award-winning magazine.
Regular daily updates will mean that Edge Online promises to provide intelligent and timely content, aimed at gamers and industry insiders who already love Edge’s in-depth, no-nonsense approach to games journalism – found in the monthly magazine.
The website at www.edge-online.com will also build on the magazine’s Edge Moves recruitment section and will provide online recruitment space. Edge Online will advertise the best jobs to those already in the videogames industry, as well as to gaming enthusiasts looking for a way into the business.
Matt Pierce is Publisher of Edge:
“Following the successful redesign of the magazine late last year it was time to turn our attention to getting Edge Online back onto the internet. Edge readers deserve a website that offers the same high standards as they find in the magazine.
“Both gaming enthusiasts and industry professionals alike will enjoy Edge Online’s diverse blend of news and opinion pieces, while developers and publishers will gain a valuable new online space within which to advertise their latest job opportunities to the world.”
Edge Online is now available at www.edge-online.com
