New look and line-up for Spanish Homes Magazine

Extensive redesign and experienced art & editorial teams for Future’s acquisition

Extensive redesign and experienced art & editorial teams for Future’s acquisition 19/01/05 Future’s foreign property title, Spanish Homes Magazine has unveiled its new look, following the acquisition of the magazine from Spanish Homes Magazine Ltd.

Spanish Homes Magazine offers features and practical advice on finding a property in Spain. The magazine helps to make buying in Spain as transparent as possible with informative and aspirational editorial.

Following its move to Future’s Bath offices, Spanish Homes Magazine has been given a comprehensive visual and editorial overhaul.

Future veterans, Group Senior Editor Julie Tolley and Senior Art Editor Dylan Channon have worked alongside incoming Editor Michael Shakespeare on reinventing the magazine. Spanish Homes Magazine issue 96 hits newsstands with a vibrant new look and an informative, plain-English approach.

New Editor Michael Shakespeare joins Spanish Homes Magazine following a successful career as a freelance writer. With experience of editing and launching lifestyle magazines in both Hong Kong and the Middle East, Shakespeare will work on further developments to the title. Packed with top quality photography and a bright, structured new look, Spanish Homes Magazine introduces an easy to navigate design that offers increased page furniture and entry points, making it easier to quickly find the information you need.

Whilst maintaining the magazine’s popular Spanish property listings Spanish Homes Magazine has introduced an all new team of writers to completely revitalise its editorial content. A network of correspondents across Spain will keep readers up to date with the latest trends, property prices and local insider information – alongside expert Q&As throughout the magazine.

Dan Bromage is Publisher of Spanish Homes Magazine:

“The new look Spanish Homes Magazine demonstrates that Future is willing to invest in this sector. Our team of Julie, Dylan and Michael will ensure that our first property title will deliver real benefits to readers – every area of the magazine has been redesigned and refocused to deliver, as we do in other markets, contemporary design and passionate editorial.

“Spanish Homes Magazine has met with favourable response from the market and readers, who have been crying out for a magazine that delivers quality editorial and practical advice. Rather than just an aspirational lifestyle title selling the many benefits a Spanish lifestyle has to offer, SHM lifts the mystery on buying in Spain in an engaging way.”

Issue 96 of Spanish Homes Magazine, on sale now, includes two 10-page regional guides to the Costa Del Sol and Almeria, as well as the latest information on Spanish healthcare and how to find work in Spain.
