Future’s T3 strikes exclusive distribution deal with Harrods

Flagship technology magazine now available in luxury department store

05/01/09 – T3 – Future’s flagship gadget brand, has sealed its position as the UK’s favourite premium technology magazine, thanks to its exclusive stocking in Harrods’ newly extended and refurbished Sound & Vision department.

Marking the first distribution deal for T3 outside of its traditional retail space, the new Harrods partnership makes T3 the only magazine sold alongside technology on the Sound & Vision floor.

T3 now rubs shoulders with premium technology brands like Apple, Loewe and Sony as influential technology consumers purchase goods from the world’s most recognised luxury department store.

T3 magazine mixes lifestyle design sensibilities and lavish photography with no-nonsense editorial – pitting practical gadgets alongside premium technology, as favoured by Harrods shoppers.

Nial Ferguson is Group Publisher of T3:

“Sealing a distribution deal with Harrods is superb recognition for the rapidly growing T3 brand and reinforces our position as the UK’s premium technology magazine.”

“We move into 2009 seeking to continue the growth of T3 – extending the reach of our website, the annual T3 Gadget Awards and marking out further opportunities to extend the T3 brand.”

David Miller, Director of Home, Furniture, Sound & Vision & Toys for Harrods, added:

“Harrods new Sound & Vision department is over 15,000 sq feet of the most exciting technology from the World’s premium suppliers, Harrods is pleased to stock T3 in the perfect environment of the new department”

Future now publishes 21 monthly international editions of T3 and continues to see healthy sales of its recently launched UK compact edition, alongside the long-running full-sized monthly magazine. The T3.com website shows growth, with the site audience growing to almost 700,000 unique users in October 2008, following a design refresh.
