Ride your dream bike and test out the best bikes on the market

Ride your dream bike and test out the best bikes on the market Future – the world’s leading cycling media group has teamed up with a string of top bike brands to launch the 2009 series of demo days for mountain bikes, giving bike enthusiasts the chance to road test the best bikes on the market.

The 2009 National Mountain Bike Series is organised by the team behind What Mountain Bike, Mountain Biking UK, www.CyclingNews.com and www.BikeRadar.com, and follows on from another successful run of the National Demo Day Series in 2008.

Seven venues across the UK will play host to the 2009 National Mountain Bike Series between January and April, bringing together some of the top cycling brands, and giving bike enthusiasts the chance to test ride the latest mountain bikes. Plus, readers of What Mountain Bike and www.BikeRadar.com will have the chance to meet the teams and talk to them whilst trying out the latest bike models and cycling innovations.

Top off-road bike brands Santa Cruz, Felt, Yeti Bikes and Trek Bikes all took part in the Demo Day Series in 2008, which drew a huge number of dedicated bike enthusiasts to the series of events.

A spokesperson for Felt said:

“Future’s demo day series has provided Felt with a successful platform to directly reach target consumers at some of the best off-road venues across the UK, giving consumers hands-on access to ride the Felt MTB range in some great environments. A very well organised, publicised and attended series.”

The series of free events is open to the general public and will be held at trails across the UK, taking in some of the best mountain bike courses on offer, such as Cannock Chase in the West Midlands, Glentress in Scotland and Afan in South Wales.

James Poole, Commercial Director for Future’s cycling portfolio said:

“The Series gives manufacturers and distributors the opportunity to demo their brands without the hassle of having to worry about, insurance, security, medical support, booking venues etc. We take care of the lot. Plus as the Series is promoted via MBUK, What Mountain Bike, Cyclingnews and BikeRadar, the one we can guarantee is a busy weekend of quality prospective customers.”
