Dave Clutterbuck takes to the saddle for leading cycling portfolio Future – the special-interest media group and the world’s leading cycling media group has announced the appointment of Dave Clutterbuck as Associate Publisher for the portfolio of cycling magazines, websites and events.

Future is the world’s leading provider of cycling content. Through its market-leading cycling magazines, including Cycling Plus, Procycling, What Mountain Bike and MBUK, and online with the BikeRadar Network, it reaches nearly 3.5 million cyclists every month.

Reporting to Group Publisher Katherine Raderecht, Dave is tasked with driving the MBUK and What Mountain Bike brands forward, and working with print, online and event teams to further strengthen the company’s flagship off-road cycling brands.

With leading Australian specialist publisher Yaffa Publishing Group since 2000, Dave has broad experience across B2B and niche consumer titles. He was editorial publisher across Yaffa’s portfolio of 17 business magazines, and latterly, group development director, responsible for new product launches, digital and events.

Dave Clutterbuck said:

“I purchased my first mountain bike from an ad in the pages of MBUK almost 20 years ago. It is testament to the strength of Future’s management that MBUK is still Britain’s best-selling bike magazine. As a keen cyclist, both on and off-road since my early teens, this is a great opportunity for me to combine work with pleasure. Future’s sports portfolio is second-to-none and I look forward to working with the team.”

Group Publisher Katherine Raderecht said:

“Future’s cycling portfolio contains some very strong brands and a market-leading presence globally. This appointment strengthens our management team and will allow us to further develop our core products and offer readers and advertisers the best bike brands in the world. Dave brings experience and talent to the role and I look forward to working with him.”
