Partnerships signed up for Future’s BikeRadar Live

Whyte Bikes and Scott Sports & Pioneer all sign up for UK’s biggest cycling festival Future – the special interest media group, has announced the first commercial partnerships for its forthcoming cycling festival, BikeRadar Live.

BikeRadar Live is teaming up with a host of leading names for the UK’s biggest cycling festival, taking place on the weekend of 30–31 May 2009 at Donington Park in Leicestershire. The first partners to be announced are; Whyte Bikes; Scott Sports; and audio company Pioneer.

Top bike brand Whyte Bikes has signed up to BikeRadar Live to create the ‘Whyte Night’ endurance mountain biking events.

The Whyte Night 4-hour and 12-hour mountain bike enduro races will be held on a 5km purpose-built trail designed by four-time national mountain bike champion Will Longden. They will start at 8pm on Saturday, with a share of a £5,000 prize purse up for grabs, and the chance to win a special prize of a £2,900 Whyte Bikes E-120 XT mountain bike.

Off the track, leading bike brand Scott Sports and audio company Pioneer have teamed up to create the Scott Sunset DJ Sessions. This will add an extra musical dimension to the cycling festival, and will host some top name DJs as the sun sets on the show on Friday and Saturday evening. Hosted by one of the biggest biking manufacturers in the world, and top quality audio company Pioneer ProDJ, it’s sure to keep weekenders in the festival mood.

BikeRadar Live’s world-class facilities include on-site camping with a kids and family area, secure bike lock-up, showers, bike wash, workshop, picnic area, medical centre, viewing stands and food and drink market.
