SFX teams up with Dave’s Red Dwarf: Back to Earth for ‘Golden Cover’ giveaway

UKTV and Future celebrate the return of cult TV classic with 50 highly collectable covers

12/03/09 – SFX, Europe’s bestselling sci-fi and fantasy magazine, celebrates its starring role in the long-awaited return of Red Dwarf by hiding 50 highly collectable ‘Golden Cover’ editions amongst copies on the newsstand.

Alongside the regular Doctor Who cover for SFX’s April issue, fans of Red Dwarf and SFX readers are in with a chance of finding one of 50 copies with a highly collectable Red Dwarf cover, as featured in new series of Red Dwarf: Back to Earth shown exclusively on Dave this Easter.

In a deal brokered by SFX’s News Editor, Richard Edwards – the SFX cover featuring the reunited team of Rimmer, Lister, Cat and Kryten is an integral part of the storyline.

Readers who aren’t fortunate enough to track down a special cover on the newsstand are also in with the chance of winning one through both www.sfx.co.uk and www.joindave.co.uk

Four brand new episodes will air over the Easter Weekend on Dave. Red Dwarf : Back to Earth, the eagerly anticipated scripted series, kickstarts the weekend on Good Friday at 9pm. The bumper weekend climaxes with Red Dwarf: the Making of Back to Earth, a behind the scenes from the new production.

Red Dwarf is Dave’s biggest commission yet and its first foray into scripted comedy.
