Biggest ever Tour de France ‘survival pack’ contains exclusive route details and more   Future, the special-interest media group, and the world’s leading provider of cycling content is to publish the annual Official Tour de France Guide.

Future have held the licence to publish the Official Tour de France Guide since 2000, and this year the Guide and the Tour both promise to be bigger than ever before. The Official Guide is also sub-licensed to Holland, with new licences for Norway and Germany.

Produced by the team behind Procycling, the Official Tour de France guide goes on sale Thursday, 4th June, with a coverprice of £9.99. The 228-page Official Tour de France Guide is bigger than ever before, and comes with a DVD worth £12.99 – covering the Tour’s history from its founding year in 1903 through to the present day.

Aimed at cycling fanatics and once-a-year Tour enthusiasts alike, the comprehensive Official Tour de France Guide is packed with detail. Edited by Procycling’s Pete Cossins, the guide aims to be the complete survival pack for the world’s biggest cycling race – with exclusive interviews and profiles of key riders including three past winners; defending champion Carlos Sastre, 2007 winner Alberto Contador and seven-time champion Lance Armstrong.

The Guide also features a detailed team analysis, a tour history and a prized comprehensive route guide that covers every stage of the race, including road maps, route analysis, gradients for the major mountain climbs, and when and where to see the riders. To complete the pack, readers will also get an official folding route map, a giant wall chart to record the progress of the race, and 4 retro art prints.
