Nottingham-based Catch 22 Pedal works with kids from disadvantaged backgrounds to keep them on the straight and narrow, by getting them into bikes. More than 150 teenagers go through the scheme every year and are shown the basics of how to build and maintain bikes, and how to amp up their riding skills, on and off road.

The scheme is part of the Catch 22 national young people’s charity. More than 70 per cent of the young people who take part in the charity’s education and training schemes go on to start work or further study within a month of leaving.

MBUK deputy editor Rosee Woodland said:
“We met the guys from Catch 22 at BikeRadar Live this summer and were really impressed by the work they do with young people and cycling. We wanted to help any way we could. By auctioning off the t-shirt we’ll raise awareness of the amazing job they do, and be able to give them a nice cheque too.”

The exclusive MBUK t-shirts normally sell for £17.99, but bidding started on EBay at just £9.99. With the closing date for bids on Friday 7 August, you can make your bid for this special t-shirt right now by clicking here

Bidding had already hit £56 after just two days. All profits raised will go direct to the charity and MBUK owner Future Publishing will match whatever is raised. To buy an exclusive MBUK t-shirt, please visit www.myfavouritemagazines.co.uk
