Inaugural master class weekend includes free workshops from major DAW creators
09/09/10 - Future, the special-interest media group, has announced the final line-up of star music producers appearing its first Producer Sessions Live weekend. The event takes place later this month, and now also features free workshop sessions from the makers of all major digital audio workstations.
Taking place at the SAE Institute in Hackney, London on the weekend of September 25th and 26th, Producer Sessions Live is a celebration of dance music production. Curated by Future’s market-leading Computer Music and Future Music magazines, the event brings together a series of unique production master classes by a roster of top names, plus the opportunity to experience one-on-one demos of the latest products and software. Day tickets are priced at just £8.

Spaces for these sessions are limited and cost just £4 each (in addition to the entrance fee of £8) with several slots selling-out within hours of their announcement.
In addition to the Producer Sessions, and included in the event’s entry fee, are a host of workshops from the in-house experts who make Reason, Ableton Live, Cubase, PreSonus Studio 1, Pro Tools, Sonar and Apple Logic. Attendees will be able to learn the latest tricks and techniques from the experts.

“We’re delighted with the response from the industry and the producers themselves. From day one, everyone has enthusiastically supported the ethos of an intimate event which brings Computer Music and Future Music to life. Producer Sessions Live gives aspiring producers a chance to learn from their idols. It’s also a fantastic opportunity for the industry to allow musicians to get hands-on with their latest kit.”
