Final call for votes in Future’s music-making awards

MusicRadar, Future’s website for musicians, is making a final call for votes in the company’s annual music-making awards, run by its market-leading portfolio of magazines for musicians.

Rewarding the best music-making gear of 2010, the enthusiast-voted awards will recognise the greatest equipment from the last year.

The category shortlists were chosen by the editors and readers of Guitarist, Total Guitar, Guitar Techniques, Computer Music, Future Music and Rhythm magazine.
With the poll ending in two days, the public can still vote to name the ultimate winner in each category.

The award categories are as follows:
-  Electric Guitar Of The Year
-  Acoustic Guitar Of The Year
-  Amplifier Of The Year
-  Percussion Product Of The Year
-  Music Software Of The Year
-  Music Hardware Of The Year

Mike Goldsmith, Editor-in-Chief of MusicRadar.com said:
“The magazine shortlists already showcase the greatest releases of 2010 and it’s exciting to see the public voting for the very best. The voting on musicradar.com closes this Friday 22nd October so this is the final call for votes.”

Each of the winners will be presented with their award at the MIA Awards industry event on 24 November 2010. Deadline for votes is 22 October 2010.
