Dates and venue announced for Future’s Producer Sessions Live 2011

The dates and venue for Future’s Producer Sessions Live 2011 have today been announced, with the UK’s premier live event for hi-tech music producers taking place at SAE audio engineering school in London on 3-4th September 2011.

Over 550 visitors came to the inaugural weekend event in September 2010, and this year looks set to build upon the foundations laid last year – with Sound Technology and Focusrite rebooking for a second year, along with retail partner Absolute Music. Yamaha have also confirmed their attendance for the 2011 show.

Producer Sessions Live is a celebration of music production. Curated by Future’s market-leading Computer Music and Future Music magazines, the event brings together a series of unique production master classes by a roster of top names, plus the opportunity to experience one-on-one demos of the latest products and gain advice from music and record industry experts. Day tickets are priced at just £10 and will be on sale 1st May.

Exhibitors will be able to showcase products throughout the event, with sponsorship packages including data capture, branding on all promotional material reaching over ½ million musicians, advertising on www.musicradar.com and pre-event advertorial and within Computer Music and Future Music.

Rob Last, Publisher for Future’s Computer Music and Future Music said:

“Myself and the team are really looking forward to building on the success of last year and growing the event. We plan to increase the number of artists we feature and expand the number of technique and product based sessions, which were incredibly popular.

We are also mindful of the fact that we need to inspire people to buy product either on the day, or to follow up afterwards with a purchase. Therefore product based features will be a really important part of making the event work for the industry partners that are committed to Producer Sessions Live.”

Talking about the event last year, Melanie Power of Time and Space said “the event visitors were great. They knew what they wanted and were genuinely interested in the products. We’ll definitely be doing it again next year.”

Garry Robson of SCV London added; “the quality of the audience was fantastic. Just being able to meet and talk to the guys in that environment was also really useful.

Headline sponsorship of the event is available, as well as features within the show. Rooms can be taken for the weekend at competitive rates, ranging from £250 – £495. Please contact Rob Last for more information – Rob.Last@futurenet.com or 01225 442244 ex 2855.
