Future and The Telegraph make computing easy

Future, the special-interest media group, has partnered with The Telegraph to bring Windows: The Official Magazine content to Telegraph readers.

The Confident Computing guides will be published on Saturday 19th and Sunday 20th March, giving the Daily Telegraph’s 1.68m readers and the Sunday Telegraph’s 1.45m readers [NRS Jan-Dec 2010] access to Windows: The Official Magazine’s unrivalled expertise.

Each glossy 52-page supplement is designed for the less tech-savvy user, helping them get more from their computer with sections covering email, online shopping, internet security and hardware plus troubleshooting tips, jargon busting and much more.

Accompanying the Saturday supplement will be an exclusive, limited subscription deal offering three copies of Windows: The Official Magazine for just £1 each.

Associate Publisher of Future’s Technology portfolio Ian Robson says: “We’re proud to be working with The Telegraph in helping less confident computer users of any age. Computing is now enriching everyday, real life activities and this should be made available for all. Windows: The Official Magazine will continue to make this its mission every issue.”

The Telegraph’s Promotions Manager Kerry Fosdike says: “We’re delighted to be giving Telegraph readers a product that they both need and want. These guides show ordinary people how to use new technology to their advantage, and to its full potential.”

Published by Future for a decade, the official Microsoft Windows title covers all things Windows, whether 7, Live, XP or Mobile. Windows: The Official Magazine is a real-life computing magazine, for people who wish to enrich their daily activities through technology.

As well as contributing to The Telegraph’s Confident Computing, the Windows: The Official Magazine brand continues to expand in 2011. Due in April is the first in a new series of Official Windows Presents – themed specials focusing on how computing can help you get more from life. Issues will cover home entertainment, better travel experiences, buying and selling online, healthier living and much more.

The Confident Computing guides are in The Telegraph on Saturday 19th and Saturday 20th March. For more information on Windows: The Official Magazine visit www.officialwindowsmagazine.com.
