Manga partners Future Publishing’s SFX for Anime special edition

Future Publishing’s SFX – the world’s number one sci-fi and fantasy magazine – has partnered with Manga Entertainment to publish The Ultimate Guide to Anime, on sale today.

The one-shot magazine gift pack – priced at £7.99 – forms part of the SFX Collection series, and is tailored especially for avid Anime fans across the UK, and is devoted to the popular Japanese genre.

Along with an exclusive 132-page magazine, fans also get a great free DVD containing three complete episodes of The Sacred Blacksmith, the hit anime show from Manga.

There’s also a giant double-sided poster sporting hit anime Summer Wars and The Girl Who Leapt Through Time, plus some fantastic Naruto Shippuden fridge magnets to help keep your milk safe!

Naruto is the most successful anime ever made, so inside the magazine we tell you absolutely everything you need to know about the ninja and the nine-tailed fox in a massive cover feature.

Other features include an analysis of classic movie Akira, finally released on Blu-ray this June, plus a look at Evangelion 2.22, a celebration of Studio Ghibli, insider columnists, a massive reviews section and more.

Edited by Jes Bickham, who also edits the renowned Comic Heroes magazine, The Ultimate Guide To Anime is on sale from 27 May for two months, priced at £7.99.

Jes says: “I’m thrilled to have edited the SFX Ultimate Guide to Anime. In partnership with Manga Entertainment we have, I believe, produced a magazine stuffed to the gunwales with everything the discerning anime fan needs to know. And the magnificent array of covermounts make this a hugely desirable and exciting package!”
