Striking New Redesign for Future’s Simply Knitting

28/09/11

Future, the special-interest media group and UK’s leading provider of craft content is unveiling an exciting new look for Simply Knitting magazine.

On sale on 4th October with issue 86, the new look Simply Knitting is as engaging and entertaining as ever; full of great content and patterns to inspire knitting enthusiasts everywhere.

Launched in 2005, Simply Knitting is one of the UK’s leading craft titles and has enjoyed great success over the past six years.

As the magazine’s first in-depth makeover, the redesign retains all the core elements of the brand that readers know and love, but also boasts some significant changes. With greater focus on accessible patterns presented in an inspiring way, the redesign puts more focus on sections such as ‘Simply Shopping’, ‘Simply Stylish’, ‘Quick and Easy Gifts’ and ‘One Ball’ projects.

The redesign also features a fantastic free ‘pebble’ gift from John James containing four specially selected needles for readers to enjoy. With the emphasis very much on exciting patterns, value, quality and fun, Simply Knitting is now much more than a magazine, it’s an experience.

Debora Bradley, editor of Simply Knitting, says: “We’re so excited about the redesign of our magazine. It was great before – but now it’s even better! The redesign has given the magazine a much cleaner, more contemporary feel, with even more patterns to try throughout the longer winter evenings, which is sure to delight our loyal readers.”

Kerry Lawrence, Publisher of Simply Knitting, adds: “When Simply Knitting launched 6 years ago it created a big splash. We’re committed to our readers and wanted to keep things interesting, so now was the right time to revamp things a little. We’ve really happy with the new look of the magazine and we hope our readers will continue to enjoy reading the magazine as much as the team enjoy making it!”

Another of Future’s market-leading craft titles, The Knitter, has also recently enjoyed a facelift. With more project photographs and readers’ own pictures, as well as regular sections such as ‘Sock Club’, Future’s two knitting titles are now even more enjoyable to read and continue to deliver first-class content which readers can subscribe to online at www.myfavouritemagazines.co.uk.
