Future launches new craft retail website in time for Christmas

17/11/11

Future Publishing, the special interest media group and leading provider of craft content, has launched a new retail website catering especially for papercrafters.

Titled we♥craft, the website was launched earlier this month and taps into the expanding papercraft and scrapbooking markets, as the trend for homemade cards continues to grow.

With thousands of different products available from big name designers such as Martha Stewart, Sizzix and Tim Holtz, we♥craft offers quick delivery direct from suppliers to your door. There’s everything from beautiful ribbon and card to buttons, paper punches and tools for sale, providing papercrafters’ with an easy-to-use and time-saving resource.

Launching as part of we♥craft is a special deal section, www.we-heart-deals.com, which offers users daily discounts on selected craft products. Offers range from inspiring books and crafty supplies to magazine subscriptions, adding even more value for the customer.

Stuart Anderton, Group Publishing Director of the Craft portfolio, says: “Future has been a key player in the craft industry for 20 years, linking active crafters with the manufacturers of crafting gear. It’s fantastic to be able to use digital technology to make that link even more directly. We♥craft allows crafters to buy the materials they need to be creative with just a click of their mouse. With well over 5,000 papercraft and scrapbooking products, we have teamed up with a number of partners to offer a massive range of products to keen crafters.”

Future Publishing has a vast amount of experience publishing in the craft market, and its portfolio includes titles such as The Knitter, Cross Stitcher, Mollie Makes and Papercraft Inspirations. The new retail website provides a new and innovative way to drive revenue in the sector. Take a look now at www.weheartcraft.co.uk.

Strengthening its market position further, Future also launched The Making Spot this Autumn. Positioned as a complete crafter’s resource, The Making Spot covers everything from cross stitching to crochet and offers users both free and paid for downloadable patterns.
