T3’s best-selling iPad Edition now free to print subscribers

22/11/11 – Future’s flagship consumer technology brand T3 has made its hugely successful iPad edition available to print edition subscribers for free.

Launched in October 2010, the bespoke T3: iPad Edition has consistently been one of the best selling and highest rated magazines on Apple’s tablet. It brings full interactivity to T3’s award-winning design, writing and photography through exclusive video, 360° animation, multi-layer content and much more.

Now, current and future subscribers to T3’s print magazine will also be able to enjoy the enhanced digital edition on their iPads, all as part of one single subscription rate.

Luke Peters, Editor of T3 says: “T3 is already a true multi-platform brand, reaching our readers wherever they are, on whatever platform they’re using. As well as looking to the future of magazine publishing, this subscriptions innovation offers our loyal readers fantastic value for money.”

Registering for free access to T3: iPad Edition is straightforward: subscribers simply need to visit www.t3.com/t3-tablet-edition-registration with their subscription number and follow the easy steps.

As well as each new issue, subscribers will be able to access all back issues of T3: iPad Edition within their subscription period. For example, if they’ve been a print subscriber for six months, they’ll be able to read the last six months’ T3: iPad Editions – all for free.

Nial Ferguson, Group Publishing Director of Future’s Technology portfolio, says: “We’ve worked hard this year to achieve more cohesion across T3’s different platforms and are extremely confident that we have a world-beating offering.

“T3’s print audience remains integral to our success, even as we continue to push the boundaries of digital publishing, and offering the acclaimed T3: iPad Edition as part of the subscription package is indicative of our innovative joined-up strategy.”

This announcement builds on a successful year of multi-platform growth for the T3 brand. As well as the newly redesigned magazine, the recently relaunched T3.com had a record-breaking 1.34 million global unique users last month, up 63% year-on-year. And the T3 Gadget Awards, with 970,000 votes cast in 2011, is the world’s biggest technology awards.

Future is the UK’s leading Technology publisher, with brands including T3, TechRadar, Gizmodo UK and MacFormat. It reaches more than 5 million UK tech fans every single month. Future brands were among the most popular on Apple’s new Newsstand when it launched last month – and have delivered more than six million app downloads since.

The next issue of T3 goes on sale on 8th December. An annual subscription (covering both print and iPad editions) currently costs just £27.49. For more information visit My Favourite Magazines.
