Leading musicians’ website MusicRadar and Live and Unsigned, the UK’s biggest music competition, are hosting a special evening to showcase five exciting new acts as part of The O2’s free live music event this month.
Taking place on 12th December, the special gig forms part of The O2’s December Sessions, which kick off tomorrow 3rd December and last for 20 nights, including performances from over 100 new acts.
The MusicRadar and Live and Unsigned session is one not to miss as five of the top acts from this year’s Live and Unsigned competition will be performing.
Bands on the special line-up include: The Filthy Habits, winners of this year’s Rock Category at Live and Unsigned, and Pandemick who were runners up in the same category. Also performing are acts which excelled in the Alternative Category, The Slick Minded Individuals and Fires and Fireplaces, plus Lucy Spraggen from the Urban/Pop Category.
Will Groves, Editor in Chief of MusicRadar, says: “MusicRadar and Live and Unsigned are hosting a night at The O2’s December Sessions in support of new and exciting talent. At MusicRadar we’re passionate about championing fresh talent and our website reaches millions of budding musicians globally. I’d encourage everyone to try to get over to The O2 for the session as it will be a fantastic show!”
The December Sessions are designed to showcase new artists in the early stages of their careers, supporting acts that might one day play in the main arena. The gig is completely free and performances will take place on a specially constructed stage at The O2.
