T3 Boosts Car Tech Content With New Online Channel And Tablet Special

11/04/12 T3, the leading consumer technology brand from Future Publishing, has announced the launch of a new channel on its successful website, T3.com.

Geared to deliver insight and analysis around the wealth of technology built into major motoring launches, the CARS channel on T3.com will celebrate the future of motoring. The new channel will deliver daily news, covering everything from bleeding-edge concept cars to the very best motoring gadgets available to tech-savvy drivers on the roads today.

The new motoring technology channel will be complemented by the arrival of a brand new Tablet magazine special: T3 DRIVE. The bi-annual Tablet special available through Apple’s Newsstand builds on the huge success of the monthly DRIVE section within the T3 magazine. It arrives at a time when T3 continues to celebrate its position as the UK’s biggest selling Tablet magazine.*

The CARS channel on T3.com launches today and the T3 DRIVE Tablet special from T3, arrives mid April.

Future Technology Group Publishing Director Nial Ferguson says: “The affluent, influential male T3 audience are huge motoring fans and are increasingly demanding that their cars are as connected to their digital lifestyles as their home and workplace. T3 has enjoyed a unique view of the intersection between motoring and consumer technology and we have been reporting on the increasing presence, importance and value of car tech for a long time

“The CAR channel on T3.com will pull together all the daily motoring news, reviews and features and the new T3 DRIVE Tablet magazine will be the perfect publication for anyone who loves car tech.”

T3 Advertising Director Jim Ranson adds: “We already have many motoring brands using T3. Last month’s issue carried campaigns from eight different motoring brands. With the arrival of these new opportunities we fully expect this to grow as we truly believe there is no other publisher that can offer such a valuable audience and a unique editorial environment.”
