OXM.co.uk Trebles Traffic To Become Biggest Dedicated Xbox Content Site In The UK

17/08/12 Future Publishing, the leading games media group, today announces a three-fold increase in traffic over the past year for Xbox 360: Official Xbox Magazine’s dedicated website www.oxm.co.uk.

With the team now working fully cross-platform across online, video, print, iOS and Zinio, the site recorded 504,068 unique users for July 2012* – up 220% on July 2011 making it the biggest dedicated Xbox content site in the UK.

This rise in traffic follows a successful refresh of the website which took place in the autumn of last year. The new-look website is able to leverage the magazine’s unrivalled industry access to deliver everything from exclusive extended interview content to OXM’s popular community video series. In addition, the team has been working closer than ever before with Microsoft to deliver popular video franchises such as the OXM Report and the OXM Breakdown to Xbox Live.

Jon Hicks, Editor of Xbox 360: Official Xbox Magazine, says: “I’m delighted that we’ve been able to extend OXM’s ongoing print success online. Our digital output has grown exponentially in the last year, and the team has done an outstanding job creating incredibly popular content for both print and digital channels.”

Richard Keith, Publisher of Xbox 360: Official Xbox Magazine, says: “OXM.co.uk is now delivering content to over half a million unique Xbox fans every month. This is a tremendous achievement for the OXM team, which has worked tirelessly cross-platform to deliver to such a fantastic rise in traffic. I am proud to call us the biggest dedicated Xbox content site in the UK and we only expect to continue that growth.”
