Future’s TechRadar Brand Goes Live In Australia

02/10/12 Future, the international specialist media group and leading digital publisher, today launches TechRadar in Australia. Covering all the very latest in technology information, the site will deliver localised content, including in-depth reviews, news, features and opinion pieces. The new site follows April’s launch of TechRadar US, defining TechRadar as a truly international brand.

Nick Broughall will lead the Australian editorial team of TechRadar, which will be based out of the Future Australia headquarters in North Sydney. Nick brings extensive experience in the technology sector having spent over three years as editor of Gizmodo Australia.

As the UK’s most popular consumer technology website, TechRadar attracts more than four million monthly UK unique users. The US version of TechRadar was launched in April this year and has already doubled traffic from the US, now delivering over five million monthly unique users. Globally, TechRadar is viewed by more than 17 million unique users every month.*

Nick Merritt, Publisher of TechRadar, says: “Building upon the proven success of TechRadar in the UK and US, we are extremely excited to introduce the site to an Australian audience. Working hand in hand with both the UK and US teams, the new site will help us do far more to meet the needs of Australian tech buyers and commercial partners. TechRadar is rapidly becoming a truly international media brand and there’s far more to come.”
