FuturePlus take Auto Trader’s ignition onto iPhone using Future Folio

Follows on from launch of ignition for iPad

Real cars for real lives to inspire your search

13/12/12 Auto Trader’s monthly interactive app, ignition, launches on Apple’s Newsstand today for the iPhone. Produced by leading content agency FuturePlus using award-winning app creation software FutureFolio, the iPhone edition follows the recent announcement of the monthly iPad app.

Auto Trader, the UK’s number one digital marketplace to buy and sell new and used cars, wanted to extend it’s digital offering and make searching for a car with Auto Trader even easier. Ignition features integrated search functionality to load dedicated search results from Auto Trader’s full classified listings. The app also includes a live Twitter feed with information about the vehicles on sale via Auto Trader and readers can post straight to their own Facebook profiles from within the app.

The iPhone edition, priced at £2.99, will contain the same content as ignition for iPad, however it will be repurposed and adapted for the iPhone giving a mobile optimised experience.

Readers can ‘try before they buy’ with a free month’s trial when they subscribe to one of the subscription packages, which are priced as following:

1 month £2.49

3 months £6.99
