The ultimate way to engage gamers is through play. We wanted to educate and excite our core segment of PS4 gaming influencers by enabling them to experience the power of the Xperia first-hand. By creating a live gaming event, we could generate a buzz surrounding the Xperia Z3 release as well as prompting word-of-mouth coverage from the key attendees.
We created and promoted a highly anticipated live gaming event – The PS4 Remote Play Event @ The Skyloft. The halo effect of the event was widened via post-event video advertorials, social posts and native content across GamesRadar+, Kotaku UK, LifeHacker UK and Gizmodo UK, further amplifying the exposure of Xperia Z3’s gaming functions.
