1. When does Future report financial results?
Our financial year end is 30 September and our half-year end is 31 March. We publish the exact dates in our Financial Calendar as soon as they are announced.
2. Where can I obtain a copy of the latest Report and Accounts?

3. When is the next Annual General meeting?
Typically Future’s AGM is held towards the end of January each year. The 2012 AGM was held on 8th February.
4. Should I attend the Annual General Meeting?
It’s entirely up to you, we welcome all shareholders at the Meeting. If you decide not to attend, you can vote by post on the resolutions put to the meeting by completing and returning the proxy card that is sent to shareholders each year. In line with best corporate governance we encourage all shareholders to register their votes.
5. What is the company dividend policy?
The Board’s policy is that dividends should be covered at least twice by adjusted annual earnings per share.
6. When was your most recent dividend paid?
An interim dividend of 0.5p per share was paid on 3 October 2011 to all shareholders on the register on 19 August 2011.

7. Can I take my dividend in shares?
Not at present, although you may reinvest your dividend by buying more shares in the Company if you wish.
8. When do I receive my dividend tax voucher?
When a dividend is due for payment you will receive a tax voucher at the same time as the dividend cheque. If you have requested to receive dividends paid direct into your bank or building society account, you will receive the tax voucher when the corresponding dividend is paid.

14. What happens if a shareholder dies?
If you are administering an estate, you may need to transfer shares into the names of beneficiaries or sell the holding. The first step is to write to Computershare (see above for contact details) to let them know what you are going to do. They will then place a temporary marker on the register to ensure that wherever possible, they do not issue further dividend payments in the shareholder’s name. They will also send you the forms that you will need to complete.

19. How do I sell my shares or buy more?
You can buy or sell shares through a stockbroker or sharedealing service. There are a variety of services available. Some take orders to buy or sell shares via the internet, many operate telephone or postal dealing services. The rates of commission charged vary depending on the kind of service that you are looking for. The cheapest way to deal in shares is usually on an ‘execution only’ basis which means that a broker will act on your instructions to buy or sell but will not give you advice on the merits of the transaction. Please note that the value of shares may fall as well as rise and you may not get back the amount you have invested.
