Future’s Digital Design group targets professional creatives working in a range of different sectors. Each of our brands is the market leader in its sector, while our flagship online property Creative Bloq has demonstrated rapid growth since launching in 2012. We also continue to grow our audience in the event space through leading brands such as the .net Awards, the UK’s longest-running internet award scheme.
Creative Bloq, our new website for the global design community, has made significant steps within its market, breaking the two million page view barrier by the end of its first year. The audience profile truly reflects the site’s global nature, with the top 10 countries by page views including the UK, USA, India, Canada, Australia, the Philippines and Brazil. The total reach across the four sites within the Digital Design group has now grown to 4.5 million page views and 1.9 million unique users.
Ask any graphic designer to list the most influential magazines in their sector and you’ll hear Computer Arts mentioned time and time again. After celebrating its 200th issue last year and recording an ABC increase as a result of fast-growing digital edition sales, 2013 has seen a comprehensive rebrand and the introduction of a fully interactive iPad edition. Brand extensions Computer Arts Collection and Computer Arts Presents have also been refreshed for 2013, with the former building on its reputation for innovative production and the latter refocused on the business of design.
Having been at the forefront of online developments since long before Google was incorporated, .net’s combination of in-depth coverage of tech trends and web development techniques have made it essential reading for web designers, web developers and digital marketers alike. It’s a formula that has also led to endorsements from key industry figures such as Vint Cerf and Jeffrey Zeldman. Unsurprisingly, .net has also been successfully translated into a digital offering. Digital edition circulation is growing quickly, helping the magazine register an ABC increase in February 2013, while web property netmag.com has also shown rapid audience growth in the last two years with over one million page views per month.
Providing 3D artists and visual effects professionals with unparalleled industry coverage, 3D World is the world’s leading 3D publication. As befits a brand with a reputation for industry access and technical authority, 3D World boasts luminaries from such revered firms as Dreamworks and ILM on its editorial advisory board.
Imagine FX completes Future’s digital design portfolio, delivering insight and inspiration to a fast-growing and passionate community of fantasy and sci-fi artists, including many professional concept and comic book artists. Rapid adoption of the magazine’s digital edition led to an ABC increase in 2012.
