Technology

Future’s sector-leading technology magazines, websites and events capture the excitement of the fast-moving markets in which they operate.

Online, our TechRadar network now attracts more than 4.7 million unique users and 19 million page views per month. Techradar.com is a hub for in-depth news for the technology enthusiast while maximumpc.com, maclife.com and T3.com deliver powerful cross-platform reach for our magazine brands.

Future is the UK’s number one publisher of consumer electronics titles and the range constantly innovates. T3 is our flagship consumer technology brand, attracting hundreds of thousands of gadget fans every month in print and online. In its last audited circulation, T3 magazine grew by 10%, delivering its highest ever ABC figure. The 2009 T3 Gadget Awards attracted the gadget industry’s biggest names with sponsors including Orange, Qualcomm, MSN and Sky News.

In the digital creative sector, Computer Arts, .net and ImagineFX are ‘must reads’ for professionals and semi-professional alike, reaching designers across the globe. The 2009 Digital Artist Awards were launched to recognise the highest standards of digital art from around the world, spanning 13 different creative disciplines. The .net awards are the UK’s longest running internet awards, and increased the number of voters by two-thirds in their eleventh year.

In Photography, PhotoPlus recorded a 24% circulation increase, while our Photographer of the Year competition attracted over 100,000 entries. In 2009, we launched photoradar.com, an online community for digital photographers.

In computing we have seen strong performances from the Apple and Linux sectors. MacFormat grew copy sales by 25% in its last circulation audit and Linux Format is the company’s second biggest export title. Our official title for Microsoft has been re-branded ‘Windows: The Official Magazine’ and now appeals to users of Windows 7 as well as Windows Vista.
