Future Graduate Scheme

Future is an international publishing and media group, and a leading digital business. Founded in 1985 with one magazine, today we are a global business, based in Bath, London, San Francisco, New York and Sydney, creating over 200 print and digital magazines, websites and events.

By 2018 Future will be the #1 or #2 content provider globally in Technology & Gaming digitally, with digital and diversified revenues in excess of £40m. The place where content, code, community and commerce all connect.

Our Future Graduate Scheme attracts dynamic, forward thinking graduates who are excited at the prospect of starting a career in an international media business.

Our Graduate Scheme

Our Future Graduate Scheme provides you with support, development and recognition as well as being provided with the opportunity to discover your strengths in a fast paced, entrepreneurial environment.

Mentor Programme

You will be paired with a high performer in Future, who you will meet on a monthly basis to receive support and to learn from.

‘View from the top’

During the year, you will be invited along with other graduates across the business to meet the Executive Leadership Team who will talk through their business experiences, offering insights and lessons learned.

Future 360

Once you’ve completed 12 months, you will be given the opportunity to work in a different area / team of the business according to your skill set so you get to experience at least one other aspect of working life here. This will increase your overall understanding of Future, as well as the markets we operate in, and expand your network within the company.

Your performance management

Quarterly progress reviews will be held with your line manager and HR. These conversations will cover what’s working and what isn’t, and subsequent areas of focus, so that you stay on track with what’s required of you at Future.

Rewarding performance

Subject to performance at your 6-monthly appraisal, we will reward you with a pay increase and provide you with the opportunity of regular pay rises over the duration of the graduate scheme, increasing your salary by up to 20% in the first two years!

Be part of our graduate community

You’ll get to meet graduates from our intake from the previous year and meet those who have also joined Future at the same time as you.

What our current graduates say…

My experience of working at Future so far has been great. I have been given the opportunity to work across different events such as PC Gamer Weekender and The Photography Show, taking part in exciting challenges and projects. Everyone has been extremely supportive and I feel I have learnt so much over the past 6 months.

Rebecca, Graduate Event Marketing Executive

Since joining Future, I had the chance to take part in a variety of activities ranging from training sessions in Bath and London to first – hand experiences of Future’s events like the PC Gamer Weekender.
