Consumer Electronics, Major Appliance U.S. Sales Top $167 Billion
TWICE Top 100 Combined consumer electronics and major appliance sales grew 3.2% to more than $167 billion in 2017, significantly fueled by an increase in online sales, according to must-read new research now available on TWICE.com.
The TWICE Top 25 CE E-tailers specifically took in $56.2 billion in 2017, swelling nearly 7 percent. TWICE research shows e-commerce sales growing exponentially, as buying online becomes second nature. While Amazon sales were up 4%, Best Buy online sales rose a whopping 21%, thanks to the leading national chain’s aggressive efforts to increase click-to-purchase revenue.
