Increased commerce activity on Future’s sites was not limited to Black Friday. E-commerce clicks increased by 213% YoY on Tom’s Guide and by 69% YoY on TechRadar on Saturday (Nov. 24). Triple-digit increases in e-commerce growth were also recorded on Sunday (Nov. 25) across many Future properties, a trend that continued into Cyber Monday.
“Black Friday and Cyber Monday present a crucial period of time for retailers to reach shoppers and Future’s 2018 findings demonstrate that purchasing behaviours aren’t slowing down,” said Bill Gannon, Vice President & Global Editor-in-Chief of Future plc. “We call this period Peak Trading at Future because this is not just a long weekend – it’s many months of effort until the last shipping date in December. Through our unique distribution strategies, we are dedicated to providing readers with quality content that can better inform their purchasing decisions and drive sales.”
